The Basket Room - YENDI: Child's Blue Patterned Bike Basket

Scaled down in size to fit children’s bikes and scooters, the YENDI bike basket features blue, turquoise and orange/red geometric designs and is supplied with two leather buckle brackets for attaching to handles. Veta vera grass (also known as ‘elephant grass’) grows wild in Ghana and produces very sturdy carriers – it’s what our moses baskets are made from, too!

Our Ghanaian bike baskets are a celebration of Northern Ghana’s abundant natural raw material, and the age-old weaving skills of its people: sustainable style and ethical production, through and through. In our ongoing commitment, our baskets are produced from natural materials indigenous to the region they are woven in.
